Enforcement orders
An operator may receive an enforcement order for a number of reasons; the most common of these are:
- a significant non-compliance issue - an ongoing risk to the environment - adverse affect on adjacent landowners if the operator appears unwilling to cooperate
Each enforcement order includes a clear description of the actions required to remedy the problem and a deadline for action.
An operator to whom an enforcement order is issued will be allowed twenty working days to comply with, or request a review (appeal) of the enforcement order. After that time, the enforcement order will be posted below until the enforcement order is complied with.
