Current applications

Applications that are before the board are listed below. 

The NRCB makes decisions about natural resource projects and is responsible to all Albertans to ensure that its decisions are impartial, balanced and in the public interest.  In considering an application, the board must carefully weigh the interests of the economy, the environment and the community.

The board encourages affected Albertans to participate in public hearings. All participants can question the evidence put forward by other participants.  The board weighs the evidence and must decide what is in the public interest.
